Tadano TG1000R
The Tadano TG-1000R is a high-capacity 100-ton hydraulic truck crane equipped with a five-section 45-meter boom and a two-stage jib extending its maximum lifting height to 61 meters. Combining powerful lifting performance, roadability, and advanced safety features, the TG-1000R is tailored for heavy-duty construction and industrial lifting applications.

Product Description
The Tadano TG-1000R is engineered for large-scale lifting operations, offering a maximum lifting capacity of 100 metric tons at a 3.5-meter working radius. It features a five-section fully powered telescoping boom extending from 12.0 to 45.0 meters, constructed in a round box-type design for increased rigidity and reduced weight. The boom supports a maximum lifting height of 46.0 meters, and with the two-stage jib (lengths of 9.9 meters and 17.7 meters), the maximum lifting height increases to 61.0 meters.
The jib offers three offset positions: 5°, 25°, and 45°, enhancing operational flexibility when lifting over obstacles or in tight workspaces. A single top sheave (auxiliary boom) is also included for efficient single-line lifting operations.
The hoisting system includes two winches—main and auxiliary—each powered by hydraulic motors. Both winches achieve a maximum hoisting speed of 110 meters/min (at the 4th layer), with a 20-ton rated rope strength. The boom elevation range spans from -1° to 82°, achieved in approximately 54 seconds via dual hydraulic cylinders.
The TG-1000R is powered by a Nissan RG10 diesel engine generating 338 kW (460 PS) at 2,000 rpm, delivering 190 kg·m of torque. It is paired with a 10-speed manual transmission (10 forward, 2 reverse gears) and boasts a maximum road speed of 79 km/h, which is impressive for a crane of this size. The vehicle rides on a 4-axle carrier (8×4 drive) for stability and road transport efficiency, with full air brakes and auxiliary engine brakes for safety during travel.
Operational control is centralized in a spacious cab with ergonomic lever arrangement and excellent visibility. Safety features include the Automatic Moment Limiter (AML), which monitors and displays real-time lifting conditions such as boom length, angle, working radius, load weight, and safe load limits. Additional safety elements include overwind protection, swing lock, winch drum lock, and outrigger interlocks.
The crane is supported by hydraulically operated H-type outriggers with fully independent control, extending laterally to a span of 7.0 meters for maximum lifting stability. The crane’s total mass is approximately 48,280 kg in travel configuration.
With its combination of lifting power, reach, and ease of transport, the Tadano TG-1000R is ideal for infrastructure development, industrial plant construction, and other demanding lift applications where both reach and mobility are essential. It stands out as a flagship in Tadano’s truck-mounted crane lineup.
