Product Description
The Grove TM 2700 is a 27.5-ton capacity fully hydraulic truck-mounted crane designed for efficient performance across general construction and industrial lifting operations. Its four-section boom extends from 8.8 meters to a full length of 28.0 meters, and it can be equipped with an optional jib of 6.7 or 7.3 meters. This configuration provides a total lifting height of up to 36.0 meters, offering excellent reach for a crane in this class. The crane’s working radius with the full boom is 26.8 meters.
Boom articulation ranges from -6.5° to 75°, reaching full elevation in 38 seconds and lowering in 27 seconds. The main winch achieves hoisting speeds of up to 80 meters per minute, while the auxiliary winch reaches 55 meters per minute. In free-fall mode, the auxiliary winch can lower loads at speeds up to 300 meters per minute, allowing for rapid load handling when required.
Mounted on a Hino ZR100 chassis, the TM 2700 offers a maximum road speed of 65 km/h. The overall dimensions include a length of 11,300 mm, width of 2,790 mm, and a height of 3,480 mm. It has a total operational weight of 29.9 tons. The crane is powered by a diesel engine producing 175 PS with a maximum torque of 58.5 kgm, paired with a 6-speed transmission and 2-speed auxiliary gearbox for flexible on-road performance.
The chassis features robust construction using high-strength steel frames and is supported by Hino’s proprietary suspension and power steering systems, delivering excellent drivability even on uneven ground. The cabin is designed for operator comfort, with panoramic visibility, heat-insulated windows, and a comfortable control layout. Safety features include an electronic moment limiter, hook overwind prevention, rope disengagement lockouts, and holding valves across the hydraulic system.
Overall, the Grove TM 2700 is a well-balanced truck crane offering dependable lifting performance, mobility, and ease of use. Its combination of a compact footprint, strong lifting chart, and simple controls make it an ideal choice for medium-scale lifting operations requiring a nimble and efficient crane solution.
