Product Description

The Sumitomo ST 3600 is a high-capacity 360-ton hydraulic truck crane, purpose-built for large-scale industrial and infrastructure projects requiring both exceptional lifting strength and mobility. The crane’s main telescopic boom consists of five sections, extending from 13.6 meters to 50 meters, and offers a robust lifting chart even at long reaches. Additionally, a luffing jib can be attached, offering lengths from 18.3 to 54.9 meters, which greatly increases the crane’s vertical and horizontal reach, particularly valuable for lifting over tall obstacles or structures.

For enhanced versatility, a fly jib with lengths between 12.2 to 24.4 meters is also available. These jib systems allow the crane to handle complex lifting configurations on dynamic construction sites. The boom’s derricking time (raising/lowering time) is 110 seconds, supported by a reliable hydraulic system that ensures smooth movement. The boom elevation range spans 0° to 83°, allowing for flexible positioning.

Lifting operations are driven by a main and auxiliary hoist system, both capable of 140 meters per minute line speed, ensuring efficient load handling even at high elevation. The crane uses 26 mm diameter wire rope with a 550 m capacity, giving it excellent durability and height range.

The upper engine is a Mitsubishi 6D22TC, generating 300 PS, powering the crane’s superstructure operations. The carrier is a Nissan KL67Y truck platform, featuring a 12×6 drive configuration and a 420 PS engine, enabling it to handle heavy travel loads while ensuring off-road and on-road mobility. This makes the ST 3600 suitable not only for lifting, but also for self-transport across job sites.

With a slewing speed of 1.2 rpm, the crane can rotate loads precisely and steadily, even under full capacity. Structurally, the machine measures 17,085 mm in overall length and 3,400 mm in width, with an overall height of 4,150 mm during site travel, providing a balanced profile for maneuvering and setup.

In summary, the Sumitomo ST 3600 delivers formidable lifting capability, extensive reach with luffing and fly jib configurations, and strong carrier mobility. It is well-suited for energy plants, infrastructure installations, large prefabricated construction, and port-based heavy lifting operations.
