Key Features & Benefits
The Jekko JF545 is part of Jekko’s articulated mini crane range, developed to provide high lifting performance while maintaining compact transport dimensions and strong maneuverability. The crane features a six-section telescopic main boom capable of delivering a maximum lifting capacity of 15.5 tonnes. The articulated design of the boom allows the crane to operate with 360-degree continuous rotation, providing excellent flexibility when working around obstacles or within confined spaces.
The main boom structure allows the crane to perform a wide variety of lifting tasks typically found in glazing installation, structural assembly, industrial maintenance, and interior construction projects. With its telescopic configuration, the crane achieves strong lifting performance while maintaining compact transport dimensions, enabling it to access locations that would normally be inaccessible to larger cranes.
To extend the working envelope, the JF545 can be equipped with a hydraulic jib rated for approximately 3 tonnes. This jib also features six telescopic sections and allows the crane to reach a maximum working height of about 30 meters with a maximum outreach of approximately 28 meters. The jib can operate with a negative working angle of around 20 degrees, enabling lifting operations below the crane’s base level or over obstacles such as walls and structural elements.
The crane is mounted on a crawler undercarriage, providing excellent traction and stability on uneven surfaces while allowing the machine to perform pick-and-carry operations. This capability allows the crane to transport loads slowly across a worksite without needing to reposition the outriggers, which improves productivity in industrial and construction environments.
Stability during lifting operations is supported by an X-pattern outrigger system that can rotate hydraulically between 0° and 45°, allowing multiple stabilizer configurations depending on site conditions. The crane also incorporates a multi-level stabilization system with five stability levels, enabling safe lifting operations even when outriggers cannot be fully extended due to space limitations.
The JF545 is designed for easy transportation and setup, incorporating a removable counterweight system with automatic dismantling capability. This system simplifies transport logistics and allows the crane to be configured with different counterweight combinations depending on lifting requirements.
Power is typically supplied by a diesel engine driving the hydraulic systems, but the crane can also be equipped with an additional electric motor power pack. This option allows the machine to operate silently and without emissions, making it particularly suitable for indoor projects such as shopping malls, factories, airports, and historical buildings where environmental restrictions apply.
The crane is operated using a radio remote control system, allowing the operator to manage all crane movements from a safe vantage point. This control system improves operational visibility and precision during lifting operations while enabling a single operator to control the crane efficiently. The remote control interface provides real-time feedback on crane movements and stability parameters.
Additional versatility is provided through optional attachments such as man baskets and MEWP platforms, which can be installed on the boom or jib for aerial work operations. These features expand the crane’s capabilities beyond lifting to include maintenance and installation tasks at height.
Overall, the Jekko JF545 combines high lifting capacity, articulated boom versatility, crawler mobility, and flexible power options. These characteristics make it a highly adaptable mini crane for construction, glazing installation, industrial maintenance, and indoor lifting operations where compact size and strong lifting performance are required.
