Product Description
The Maeda CC505 and CC503 mini crawler cranes are designed for efficient, safe lifting operations in restricted or indoor environments. The CC505 comes equipped with a 5-section boom extending from 4.5 meters to 15.5 meters (4.20 to 9.70 meters for the CC503 with a 3-section boom). The cranes offer a maximum lifting capacity of 4.9 tons at a 2.1-meter radius. The maximum lifting height is 16.2 meters (10.4 meters for CC503), enabling the crane to handle moderate-to-high reach lifting tasks.
The boom extends using a sequential double-cylinder hydraulic system, delivering smooth, reliable operation. The CC505 achieves a boom extension stroke of 11.0 meters (5.5 meters for the CC503) and completes full extension in approximately 25 seconds. Boom elevation ranges from -2° to 80°, with raising speed of 13 seconds. The swing system operates at 2 rpm, providing precise load placement and positioning.
The crane’s main winch delivers a rope speed of 15 m/min (60 m/min at the drum’s fourth layer), using a 6 x Fi(29) IWRC wire rope measuring 10 mm by 90 meters, with maximum rope load of 6.89 tons. The hook block has 4-part reeving.
The crane is powered by a Komatsu 4D95L diesel engine producing 65 PS (approximately 64 hp) at 2,300 rpm. The hydraulic system uses a 4-pump setup dedicated to slewing, winching, boom operation, and travel functions, ensuring reliable multi-function performance. The total operating weight of the CC505 is approximately 8,300 kg (8,500 kg when fully equipped), with a travel speed of up to 3.1 km/h.
Safety features include a moment limiter with automatic shutdown and alarm functions when approaching overload conditions, a boom angle limiter, overwinding prevention, hydraulic pressure relief valves, and lock valves on hydraulic cylinders. The cranes also include anti-overturning protection and mechanical swing brakes for stable and secure operation.
Overall, the Maeda CC505 and CC503 provide versatile, compact lifting solutions for tasks where precision, safety, and limited operating space are key concerns, making them well suited for urban construction, interior building work, and maintenance projects.
