Product Description
The Maeda LC785-8B is engineered as a high-performance mini crawler crane tailored for operations in tight and restricted job sites such as industrial plants, urban developments, and indoor facilities. With a maximum lifting capacity of 4.9 tons at 2.1 meters and a peak working radius of 14.52 meters at 200 kg, it demonstrates exceptional versatility and control across a broad range of light lifting scenarios.
The crane’s fully automatic five-section pentagonal telescopic boom spans from 4.63 meters to 15.63 meters, with an extension achieved in just 25 seconds. For greater reach, the optional fly-jib can increase the lifting height to an impressive 20.3 meters while maintaining excellent stability and precision. The boom hoist system operates at a tilt angle from -2° to 80°, with swift adjustments taking only 13.5 seconds.
A standout feature of the LC785-8B is its twin-speed hoisting mechanism. It can lift at 29 or 43 meters per minute with four-part reeving and at single-line speeds of 116 or 172 meters per minute on the fourth layer. These capabilities are supported by a durable IWRC 6 x Fi hoist rope, 10 mm in diameter with a 115-meter length.
Powered by a Komatsu SAA4D95LE-5 diesel engine, the machine delivers a rated output of 41.0 kW at 1950 rpm. It uses an electric start and features a 140-liter fuel tank, enabling long operational endurance. The engine is matched with a hydraulic system that includes planetary reduction gears and an automatic brake, ensuring smooth and reliable motion.
Driving and maneuverability are enhanced with an independent hydraulic piston motor-driven crawler system, offering traction speeds ranging from 0 to 4.5 km/h and a 20° gradeability. Its compact chassis dimensions—5020 mm (L) × 2360 mm (W) × 2795 mm (H)—make it especially suitable for sites where space is limited. The tracks measure 2235 mm in length and 450 mm in width, exerting a low ground pressure of just 0.51 kgf/cm² (0.52 with fly-jib), minimizing impact on delicate surfaces.
The LC785-8B includes a comprehensive array of standard features such as moment limiter, steel tracks, LED working status lights, air conditioning, and full safety instrumentation (tilt alarm, spark arrestor, over-wind protection, data logger, EMO switch). Optional equipment includes fly-jib, single fall hook, rear-view camera, and radio remote control, further enhancing functionality.
With its robust design, compact form factor, and advanced control systems, the Maeda LC785-8B stands out as a leading choice in the mini crawler crane segment for efficient and safe lifting in constrained and sensitive environments.
