Tadano TR-450XL-4
TR450XL-4 is a 45-US-ton rough terrain crane manufactured by Tadano for the North American market. It has 108.3′(33m) boom , 50′(15.2m) jib , 2M2D , Tier2 level engine. the TR-450XL-4 debut at ConExpo 2002 despite early deliveries to Bay Crane who was Tadano’s New York distributor.
The factor behind the re-design of the 45-ton RT was a change in regulations in New York limiting one-man operation machines to 70,000 lbs GVW and Tadano accelerated the development of this fourth generation and reduced the weight of the machine.
