Product Description
The XCMG XCR100U is a robust 100 US ton rough terrain crane designed to handle demanding lifting tasks in challenging environments. It features a four-section U-shaped cross-section telescoping boom that extends from 40.7 feet to 157.5 feet. The crane also includes a two-section lattice jib, which provides additional reach with a length ranging from 34.4 feet to 57.4 feet. The jib offers three offset angles of 0°, 15°, and 30°, allowing for greater versatility in lifting configurations.
Powering the XCR100U is a Cummins B6.7 in-line, six-cylinder diesel engine with a rated power output of 280 horsepower at 2,200 rpm and a maximum torque of 850 lb-ft at 1,500 rpm. The engine complies with U.S. EPA Tier 4 emission standards, making it environmentally friendly. The crane’s fuel tank has a capacity of approximately 80.6 gallons, ensuring extended operational time between refueling.
The XCR100U’s transmission is a 6-speed automatic from ZF, featuring six forward gears and three reverse gears for optimal performance on various terrains. The crane’s front axle is rigidly connected to the frame, while the rear axle is equipped with swing hydraulic suspensions that enhance stability and comfort during travel. The suspension system also includes a locking feature for the rear axle cylinder, which provides increased stability when traveling with a suspended load.
Steering on the XCR100U is highly adaptable, with independent steering for both the front and rear axles. It offers multiple steering modes, including crab walk and tight turning radius capabilities, enhancing maneuverability in confined spaces. The crane is fitted with off-road tires (29.5R25) for superior traction on uneven terrain.
Safety features are a key aspect of the XCR100U’s design. The crane is equipped with a dual-circuit hydraulic disc brake system, ensuring reliable braking performance. It also includes hydraulic balance valves, relief valves, and a load moment indicator (LMI) for safe lifting operations. A 360° turntable locking device and anti-two block systems are installed to prevent rope over-winding and over-releasing.
The operator’s cab is designed for comfort and functionality, featuring a tiltable structure with a sliding door and adjustable seating. It is equipped with safety glass, a protective grille, and climate control, including heating and air conditioning. The cab’s design ensures excellent visibility and ergonomic control layout, enhancing operator efficiency.
Overall, the XCMG XCR100U combines rugged construction, advanced technology, and versatile features to provide a reliable and powerful lifting solution for rough terrain applications.
