TCM RTCW 35
Italian Crane Manufacturer TCM launched its first rough terrain crane, RTCW 35 in 2008. The crane features a four-section 32.6 metres octagonal boom. On outriggers, it can lift its maximum capacity of 35 tonnes at 3 metres with six falls of rope and 5.5 tonnes counterweight.
Using the same counterweight, it can pick and carry 5 tonnes. The crane also has lifting charts for outriggers not extended (maximum capacity of 15.3 tonnes) and partially-extended (maximum capacity of 27.6 tonnes), and a set of charts for the same configurations but without counterweight.
The machine weighs 27.2 tonnes with the counterweight, and measures 10 metres long, 3.2 metres high and 2.5 metres wide in the transport position. At full outrigger extension, the crane is 6.7 metres wide.
Maximum speed is 40 km/h (25 mph) with either 16.00R25 or 20.5R25 tyres. On public roads in Italy, the crane is limited to 25 km/hr (15.5 mph). It is powered by an N45 ENT Tier 3 diesel that generates 104 kW at 2,200 rpm.
