Tadano GTC-550

The GTC-550 is a powerful 55 USt crane featuring a 4-section full power boom that allows continuous telescoping with load to the maximum extended length of 113’ 10”. The main boom is complemented with a 28.9 ft to 49.9 ft bi-fold jib with 5°, 25°, and 45° offsets. An optional Heavy Configuration Counterweight package (28,200 lb) provides increased lifting performance at longer radiuses.

Tadano is set to streamline the nomenclature of its GTC crane models globally, aligning them with the nomenclature employed in the American market. This adaptation won’t affect the model names in the US. However, for products marketed outside the American sphere, specific changes are slated for implementation in late 2022. Notably, the Tadano GTC-500EX will undergo a transition, adopting the new designation of GTC-550. This strategic move aims to create a more cohesive and standardized nomenclature system for Tadano’s GTC crane models on the international stage.
