Egypt’s Specialized Contracting Company Cranes, based in Cairo, has purchased a used LR1400/2 crawler crane from Liebherr.
Accordingly to Liebherr, the 400-tonne LR1400/2 crawler crane will be mainly used in power plant projects, erection of wind farms and construction of bridges for the new motorway network.
The LR1400/2 crawler crane has already been deployed to complete the construction of tunnels in Port Said and for the expansion of a power plant in west Cairo.
