The Demag AC 130-5 all-terrain crane is equipped with robust features tailored for versatile and powerful lifting capabilities. This crane comes with a Euromot 4/Tier 4F compliant Scania DC13 diesel engine, delivering an impressive 368 kW (500 HP) and a torque of 2373 Nm. The engine is designed for optimal performance while adhering to stringent environmental standards, and it’s complemented by a stainless steel exhaust system.

For fuel efficiency and extended operation times, the AC 130-5 has a substantial fuel tank capacity of 480 liters for diesel and an additional 60 liters for AdBlue. The transmission system, an AS12INT ZF AS-Tronic, features an automated gearbox with 12 forward speeds and 2 reverse, integrated with a hydraulic retarder for smooth and controlled operation.

The crane’s mobility is enhanced by its 10 x 6 x 10 drive configuration, with five axles where the second, fourth, and fifth are driven and equipped with selectable transverse lock, and the fourth axle also features a selectable longitudinal lock. All axles are steerable, supported by a hydropneumatic suspension system with axle load compensation and a dual-circuit steering system offering six steering programs for unparalleled maneuverability.

Safety is paramount, with a comprehensive brake system that includes pneumatic dual circuit service brakes on all wheels, disc brakes, an integrated hydraulic retarder, and additional exhaust brake along with a parking brake.

The superstructure of the AC 130-5 is equally impressive, boasting a telescopic boom that extends from 12.5 m to 59.8 m, allowing for a maximum capacity of 64.3 t. The counterweight system totals 31.6 t, spread over six pieces for balanced lifting operations. Outriggers are of an H-4-point design, with full hydraulic movement and three outrigger bases for stability across various terrains.

The crane also features a state-of-the-art control system enabling four simultaneous working movements, electric pilot controls, and multiple operating modes for hydraulic circuits. The operator aids include the IC-1 system with an integrated electronic load moment indicator, providing essential data for safe and efficient crane operation.

Designed for operator comfort, the crane cab is equipped with engine-independent heating, adjustable seating, and is structurally designed to offer a clear view of the operational area, ensuring both comfort and control during lifting operations.
