The XCMG XCA220H is a robust 220-ton capacity all-terrain crane engineered for versatile lifting tasks. The crane’s main boom consists of a 7-section U cross-section structure, with lengths ranging from 13.3 meters to a maximum of 72 meters. The boom utilizes a single-cylinder pinning telescoping system, aided by a double-acting cylinder with a safety valve to control the extension and retraction of the sections. This configuration offers flexibility in telescoping patterns for various lifting scenarios.

Complementing the boom is a lattice jib with lengths between 12 and 40 meters, available in multiple configurations (12, 16, 20, 24, 28, 32, 8+24, 8+28, and 8+32 meters). The jib can be offset at 0°, 20°, and 40° angles, enhancing the crane’s adaptability in handling complex lifting operations.

The crane’s counterweight system is designed to be flexible with six different combinations, from 12 tons to a full 72-ton configuration. This allows operators to optimize stability and lifting capacity according to the requirements of the task.

The chassis is built with high-strength steel, incorporating an anti-torsion box-type structure for enhanced durability and stability. The crane is supported by four hydraulically operated outriggers arranged in an H-shape, with each outrigger equipped with a check valve and double-way hydraulic valve for secure operation. The floats have dimensions of 600 mm x 600 mm, providing a solid foundation, with maximum reaction forces of 860 kN for the front outriggers and 1170 kN for the rear.

Powering the XCA220H are two engine options: the MC13.54-50 by SINOTRUK, an in-line 6-cylinder diesel engine with a rated power of 400 kW at 1900 rpm, compliant with China V emission standards, or the WP13.530E501 by Weichai, a 6-cylinder diesel engine delivering 390 kW at 1900 rpm, meeting Euro V standards. Both engines offer a maximum torque of 2500 Nm and share a fuel tank capacity of 592 liters.
