Product Description
The Fuwa QUY80B crawler crane is designed to meet the demands of medium-duty lifting projects, providing an optimal combination of power, reach, and versatility. With a lifting capacity of 80 tonnes, the QUY80B’s main boom spans from 13 to 58 meters, and can be extended to 76 meters when paired with a 9 to 18-meter jib. This flexibility allows the crane to adapt to various site requirements, making it suitable for general construction, infrastructure projects, and light industrial applications.
At the heart of the QUY80B is a Cummins QSL-9 diesel engine, delivering 209 kW at 2000 rpm. This engine powers an advanced hydraulic system incorporating components from Rexroth and Kawasaki, ensuring reliable performance and precise control. The hydraulic system features a dual variable displacement pump with load-sensing technology, enhancing the crane’s efficiency and responsiveness. With a fuel tank capacity of 485 liters and a hydraulic oil tank capacity of 600 liters, the QUY80B supports extended operations without frequent refueling.
The crane’s main winch and auxiliary winch are equipped with 26 mm diameter wire ropes, each capable of a line pull of 46 tonnes, achieving hoisting speeds of up to 116 m/min. The derricking system, driven by a 440 mm drum, provides a rope speed of 54 m/min, allowing for swift adjustments. Additionally, the crane incorporates a free-fall function on both the main and auxiliary winches, offering enhanced efficiency during hoisting and lowering operations.
Designed for maneuverability, the QUY80B features a swing system powered by a planetary reduction gear, offering 360° continuous rotation with a high-speed swing of 3 rpm. The crawler undercarriage is built with 860 mm wide track shoes and includes 52 track shoes on each side, providing stability and traction on uneven surfaces. The crane can traverse at speeds of up to 1.3 km/h, and its 30% gradeability allows it to navigate challenging terrain with ease.
Safety and operator comfort are integral to the QUY80B’s design. The fully enclosed cab includes air conditioning, a large screen for monitoring crane operations, and essential safety equipment such as a fire extinguisher and moment limiter. The crane is equipped with an array of hook blocks (80, 50, 25, and 8 tonnes), accommodating a variety of lifting tasks with ease.
The crane’s structure utilizes high-strength steel pipes, and the boom sections are joined using a lattice construction for added rigidity. The fixed jib is adjustable with two angle settings of 15° and 30°, enhancing the crane’s adaptability. The counterweight system consists of both welded and forged sections, with a total weight of 24.6 tonnes, providing the necessary stability for lifting operations.
The Fuwa QUY80B stands out as a robust and versatile crawler crane that combines reliable power with adaptable configurations, making it suitable for diverse construction and industrial projects. Its combination of advanced hydraulic systems, durable construction, and operator-focused design makes it a valuable asset in any medium-duty lifting application.
