Product Description
The Hitachi-Sumitomo 1000HLX is a high-performance 100-ton crawler crane, engineered for demanding construction and lifting tasks. Powered by a Cummins QSB 6.7L 4-cycle turbocharged diesel engine, it produces 201 kW (273 PS) at 2000 rpm, complying with stringent Tier 4 Final and Stage IV emission standards. This ensures both power and environmental responsibility in heavy-duty operations.
The crane’s hydraulic system is built for efficiency, with a maximum operating pressure of 31.4 MPa and various pump configurations delivering different flow rates to control the front, rear, and boom hoist winches, travel drives, and auxiliary functions. The primary pumps (P1 and P2) deliver 266 L/min each, while auxiliary pumps provide flow rates for additional functions, ensuring smooth and efficient operations across all movements.
The 1000HLX features a boom that can extend up to 60 meters, supported by winches equipped with 28 mm diameter ropes. The standard rope length is 290 meters, with a maximum rated line pull of 132 kN (13.5 tons). The optional third winch is equipped with a 26 mm rope, offering a line length of 205 meters and a line pull of 117 kN (11.7 tons). These winches are designed for controlled operations, with free-fall winching capability provided by a hydraulic motor and brake system.
The crane’s crawler tracks provide excellent stability and mobility on various terrains. The 1000HLX has a top travel speed of 2.0 km/h and a low-speed setting of 1.1 km/h, with a gradeability of up to 30%, allowing it to handle challenging ground conditions. The side frames are made from heavy-duty steel with an 810 mm shoe width for better ground pressure distribution and stability.
The counterweight system is highly flexible, offering a total weight of up to 37.5 tons, distributed across six segments: 9.5-ton upper weights, 9.0-ton middle weights, and 3.0-ton lower weights. This allows the operator to adjust the crane’s balance for different lifting configurations, enhancing performance and safety.
The Hitachi-Sumitomo 1000HLX is designed for operator ease and safety, featuring a modern control system with intuitive levers, displays, and hydraulic monitoring to enhance precision in lifting operations. The ergonomic operator’s cab provides excellent visibility and comfort, ensuring long working hours without operator fatigue.
Overall, the 1000HLX offers a powerful combination of lifting capacity, flexible configuration options, and advanced hydraulic and control systems, making it ideal for large-scale construction, infrastructure, and industrial projects. Its design prioritizes safety, control, and performance, ensuring reliability in complex lifting operations.
