The Hitachi-Sumitomo 1500HLX is a 150-ton crawler crane designed for high-capacity lifting operations in large-scale construction and industrial projects. It is powered by an Isuzu 6HK1 4-cycle, water-cooled, direct-injection diesel engine with a displacement of 7.79 liters. The crane is equipped with a sophisticated hydraulic system, operating at a maximum pressure of 31.4 MPa (34.3 MPa for certain functions). The system includes multiple hydraulic pumps that handle different operational aspects, with the main pumps (P1 and P2) each providing 266 L/min for the front and rear winches, travel system, and boom hoist. The winches are designed for optimal performance, featuring a 28 mm rope diameter with a maximum length of 290 meters for both the front and rear winches. The auxiliary winch offers a 25 mm rope diameter, with a rope length of 160 meters, specifically designed for additional lifting tasks. The crane’s travel speed ranges from 1.5 km/h in high mode to 0.9 km/h in low mode, with a gradeability of up to 30%, allowing it to traverse rough terrains efficiently. The crawler side frames are designed for easy assembly and disassembly, which reduces transportation time and costs.

The operator’s cab is equipped with an 8-inch display panel for real-time feedback and control over the crane’s operations. The controls feature a pilot hydraulic system for smooth operation, with intuitive lever positioning for easy use.
