The Hitachi-Sumitomo SCX900-3 is a versatile crawler crane with a maximum lifting capacity of 90 tons at a 4-meter working radius. Designed for different lifting applications, the crane can be configured as a liftcrane, a tower crane, or a clamshell crane, offering flexibility for various project requirements:

Liftcrane Configuration: The crane features a basic boom length of 12 meters, extendable to 60 meters, allowing for a wide range of lifting tasks. An optional jib can extend from 10 to 28 meters, resulting in a maximum boom + jib length of 88 meters.
Tower Configuration: The crane supports a tower setup with lengths ranging from 26.5 meters to 44.5 meters, with a tower jib length of 19.0 to 37.0 meters. This configuration is ideal for tall lifting applications.
Clamshell Configuration: When configured as a clamshell crane, the SCX900-3 supports a clamshell bucket capacity of 2.5 cubic meters and a maximum digging depth of 36 meters.

The SCX900-3 is powered by an Isuzu 6HK1 engine with a rated output of 210 kW (285 PS) at 1,900 rpm. This engine complies with modern emission standards, providing reliable and efficient power for lifting tasks. The crane’s rope line speeds reach 110 meters per minute for the main drum, with a third auxiliary winch speed of 95 meters per minute, ensuring quick and efficient load handling.
