Zoomlion QUY200

The Zoomlion QUY200 is a high-capacity 200-ton class crawler crane engineered to handle demanding lifting applications in infrastructure, energy, and industrial projects. It offers impressive configuration flexibility with a main boom that ranges from 19 to 84 meters and a luffing jib setup extending from 24 to 72 meters. The crane can be configured for long boom operations, fixed jib, or luffing jib modes, accommodating a wide range of jobsite needs with a maximum combination of 66 meters boom plus 72 meters luffing jib.

Powered by a Cummins QSM11 engine rated at 298 kW (400 hp) at 1,800 rpm, the QUY200 is equipped with a high-efficiency load-sensing hydraulic system. The main pumps consist of dual variable-displacement axial piston units, paired with an independent cooling circuit and a separate gear pump for auxiliary functions. This system delivers smooth operation for boom hoisting, swing, winch operation, and travel, enabling precise control even under heavy loads.

The hoisting mechanisms offer high line speeds: the main and auxiliary winches can each reach 120 m/min, and the luffing jib winch achieves up to 65 m/min. These speeds ensure efficient cycle times on-site. Drum capacity allows for 20 mm ropes at 420 meters in length, enabling significant vertical lifting distances. Slewing is achieved at speeds up to 2.0 rpm, while the travel system, using independent dual-track drives, delivers a maximum speed of 1.2 km/h and a gradeability of 30%.

The crane’s superstructure features an ergonomic cab equipped with large visibility windows, a suspension seat, air-conditioning, and electronic monitoring systems. A load moment indicator (LMI), over-wind cutouts, boom angle indicators, and drum rotation indicators all contribute to a safe working environment. The cab is mounted on vibration-reducing supports for operator comfort during long operations.

Counterweight configuration includes a 40-ton upper structure weight and 50-ton carbody counterweights for enhanced stability. Outfitted with retractable crawler frames, the crane measures 6.8 meters wide when fully extended, but can be transported in narrower configurations to meet road limits. Ground pressure remains low, thanks to the wide crawler footprint and overall operating weight distribution.

The Zoomlion QUY200 combines reliable hydraulic performance, flexible lifting configurations, and a safety-forward design. It is well-suited for tower erection, bridge building, wind turbine installation, and general heavy lifting work in both confined and open sites.
