Potain MCT 275 K12

The Potain MCT 275 K12 is a highly efficient and modular flat top tower crane engineered to meet the lifting demands of modern construction sites. It offers a maximum load capacity of 12 tonnes and is capable of covering up to 70 meters in radius with a tip load capacity of approximately 2.2 tonnes. Its topless design ensures optimal operation in environments with overlapping cranes or height restrictions, improving site logistics and safety.

The crane mounts on a 2.0m x 2.0m mast system and is compatible with multiple tower configurations such as P 20A, P 21A, VB 21A, and BA 66A, supporting versatile site setups and anchoring. The freestanding height can reach over 60 meters, depending on the mast type and base arrangement. For lifting, the MCT 275 K12 is equipped with either the 75 LVFC Optima or the 75/90 HPL™ winch, offering hoisting speeds up to 220 m/min and rope capacities that accommodate a wide variety of working heights.

Its slewing mechanism utilizes the RVF 162 Optima+ system for smooth and precise movement, delivering up to 0.63 rpm. Trolleying speeds and trolley designs are optimized for balanced performance under varying loads. The crane integrates Potain’s Power Control function, which dynamically adjusts hoist speeds based on the site’s available electrical power, enhancing energy efficiency and operational consistency.

With modular jib and counter-jib sections, the MCT 275 K12 is easy to transport—fitting in standard 40-foot High Cube containers—and can be erected efficiently on-site. The crane is compliant with FEM 1.001-A3 standards and is ideally suited for infrastructure developments, high-rise buildings, and urban projects demanding a reliable, high-performance tower crane.
