Al Faris has been contracted to assemble and erect wind turbines for a wind farm project in Jordan. The Liebherr LTM1500-8.1 has been deployed from their Saudi Arabian branch, along with three well-trained members.

After careful consideration and calculations, the crane specialist selected it’s 500-tonne Liebherr LTM 1500-8.1 all-terrain as the most suitable to safely carry out the heavy lifts. The loads varied from 64 tonnes to 90 tonnes and the 500-tonne mobile crane will use its main boom with guyed system to carry out the lifting operations.

All surveys, planning, technical support documentation, execution plans and schedules were prepared in-house prior to job execution. “This helped organise all activities smoothly with minimum delays. The execution was safely carried out by our trained operators,” said Al Faris.

“We also provided a strong commitment and focus to adhere to best HSE practices on-site, which was discussed in detail with the client prior to the commencement of any operations.”
