Demag AC 35

The Demag AC 35 is a robust 35-ton capacity all-terrain crane designed to deliver top-notch performance across a range of lifting operations. It features a main boom length of 30.4 meters, which is the longest in its class, offering a maximum tip height of 46 meters. This crane is equipped with a fully hydraulic telescopic boom system that ensures fast and smooth telescoping, making it highly efficient for various lifting tasks. The crane can accommodate optional boom extensions, including side-folding 1- or 2-part jibs of 8 or 15 meters, allowing for additional versatility with offsets of 0°, 20°, or 40°.

The crane is powered by a state-of-the-art DaimlerChrysler OM 906 LA water-cooled 6-cylinder engine, delivering 205 kW (279 hp) at 2300 rpm and a torque of 1100 Nm at 1300 rpm. The engine meets Euromot 2 anti-pollution standards, emphasizing its eco-friendly design. The fuel tank capacity is 250 liters, and the engine is paired with an automated powershift transmission featuring six forward and three reverse gears, alongside a differential lock-out control for optimized traction.

Built on a 4x4x4 drive chassis, the AC 35 comes with a monobox frame and fully hydraulic outriggers with electronic leveling indicators. The axles utilize a planetary hub reduction and steering system, and the crane is equipped with hydropneumatic suspension that can be hydraulically locked. This setup ensures stability and easy maneuverability on diverse terrains. It rides on 16.00 R 25 single wheels, enhancing its capability to navigate through various job sites.

The spacious, all-steel crane cab is designed for operator comfort, featuring sliding doors, tinted windows, air conditioning, and a corrosion-resistant coating. It is also equipped with full instrumentation, crane controls, and essential safety features like electronic load indicators and pressure relief valves. The slewing unit includes a hydraulic motor with a planetary gear reducer, providing smooth and controlled rotation for precise positioning.

Optional features include bi-carburation systems, additional hook blocks, and a Telma brake retarder, adding flexibility and customization based on operational needs.
