Product Description
The Sany SAC6000T8-8 is an all-terrain crane with a maximum lifting capacity of 600 tons, tailored for demanding lifting operations that require flexibility, precision, and high performance. It is built on a 12x8x12 wheel configuration, providing excellent mobility and stability. This crane is suitable for large-scale construction projects, infrastructure development, and energy sector tasks, including wind turbine installations.
Superstructure Details: The SAC6000T8-8’s superstructure is driven by a Mercedes-Benz OM906LA.E3A/1, a 205 kW (278 HP) diesel engine, providing a maximum torque of 1100 Nm. The crane’s hydraulic system is designed for smooth and efficient operations, featuring dual-pump circuits and a slewing platform that allows for 360° continuous rotation with precise, stepless control. The luffing system, capable of angles between 0° and 84°, supports complex lifting scenarios, enhancing the crane’s range and adaptability.
The crane’s boom system comprises a seven-section U-shaped telescopic boom, constructed from high-strength steel, with a basic length of 16.4 meters and a full extension up to 95 meters. Additional configurations include a luffing jib that extends up to 84 meters, enabling a maximum combination of 148.8 meters (78.5 m boom + 84 m jib). The crane’s modular design allows for multiple jib combinations, offering flexibility in various working conditions. The boom and jib offset can be adjusted to 0°, 20°, and 40° for optimized positioning.
Carrier and Mobility: The chassis is powered by a Mercedes-Benz OM473 engine, available in two variants to comply with emission standards (China VI / Euro IIIA), delivering up to 481 kW (650 HP) and 3100 Nm of torque. This powerful engine ensures the crane can achieve a maximum travel speed of 70 km/h, making it efficient for long-distance travel. The ZF automatic transmission system with 12 forward and 2 reverse gears provides seamless transitions, adaptable for both on-road and off-road conditions.
The SAC6000T8-8 features a multi-mode, hydro-pneumatic suspension system that adjusts in real time to varying terrains, enhancing ride comfort and stability. It includes hydraulic lockout, automatic leveling, and integrated smart control for seamless adaptability. The crane’s steering system is also highly versatile, offering six different steering modes, including all-wheel steering, crab steering, and independent axle steering, allowing for a minimum turning radius of 12 meters.
Hydraulic and Safety Systems: The crane is equipped with advanced hydraulic technology, using a closed-loop system for high efficiency. The main hoist has a planetary gear reducer and offers a rope speed of up to 130 meters per minute. The crane includes multiple safety systems, such as overload protection, emergency braking, and real-time monitoring. The counterweight system ranges from 0 to 143 tons, which can be easily assembled or disassembled as needed, optimizing the crane’s performance and balance.
Additional Features: The SAC6000T8-8’s driver and operator cabs are designed for comfort and functionality, with pneumatic suspension seats, adjustable steering wheels, and climate control. The operator’s cab is tiltable (0°–20°) for better visibility and control during operations. The crane incorporates a user-friendly interface with an LCD display for monitoring and managing key functions, supported by Sany’s intelligent diagnostic system for remote operation and real-time feedback.
The crane’s extensive outrigger system, featuring H-type telescopic outriggers, offers robust support and stability, with a maximum span of 9.4 meters by 9.6 meters. The outriggers are equipped with electric proportional control and wireless remote operation, allowing for precise setup and easy adjustments.
Applications: Designed for heavy lifting tasks, the Sany SAC6000T8-8 is particularly well-suited for projects that demand flexibility and high-capacity lifting, such as construction of bridges, tall structures, and industrial equipment installation. Its ability to work in varying conditions, from high heat to cold weather (working range: -20°C to +40°C), adds to its versatility. With excellent gradeability (44%) and off-road capability, this crane can maneuver through challenging environments, making it a preferred choice for projects requiring mobility and strength.
