Product Description
The Sumitomo SA1000 all-terrain crane is a heavy-duty lifting machine built to handle a maximum lifting capacity of 100 metric tons at a 2.8-meter working radius. It features a fully hydraulic, five-section telescopic boom that extends from 12.0 meters to a maximum of 45.1 meters. The crane can be configured with a single jib (12.0 to 21.0 meters) or a double jib for enhanced reach (20.0 to 45.0 meters), offering great versatility for on-site operations. When configured with the 45.1-meter boom and 24-meter jib, the maximum lifting height reaches 63.6 meters.
Powering the crane is a Mitsubishi 6D24-TC turbocharged diesel engine with a rated output of 350 PS (257 kW) at 2,100 rpm and a maximum torque of 163 kgf·m at 1,400 rpm. The crane’s hydraulic system features six pumps and operates at a system pressure of 250 kgf/cm². A powerful hoisting mechanism supports lifting speeds of up to 118 m/min (single line, 4th layer), while the boom hoisting speed reaches 33 seconds for full lift, with a slewing speed of 2.2 rpm.
Mounted on a robust 8x4x8 all-terrain chassis, the SA1000 offers excellent mobility and stability. It achieves a travel speed of up to 70 km/h and boasts a compact minimum turning radius of 10.2 meters (when equipped with auxiliary steering), making it suitable for urban and confined spaces. The carrier is built on a monocoque frame and is fitted with an air suspension system to ensure a smoother ride on uneven ground.
The crane’s counterweight totals 6.78 tons, and its overall traveling weight is approximately 42.1 tons. The cab is designed for comfort and functionality, with full control instrumentation, AM/FM radio, air conditioning, and safety enhancements such as boom angle indicators, load moment indicators, and automatic overwind protection.
With its balanced mix of power, reach, and maneuverability, the Sumitomo SA1000 stands out as a capable lifting solution ideal for infrastructure development, heavy construction, and general lifting work in challenging terrain environments.
