Product Description
The XCMG QAY650A is designed to handle heavy-duty lifting operations with a maximum lifting capacity of 650 tons. It features a seven-section telescopic “U”-shaped boom, extending from 18 to 92 meters, allowing for a wide range of lifting applications. The crane’s boom structure employs a plug-pin locking system with multiple extension configurations, offering flexibility for various lifting scenarios.
For extended reach, the QAY650A offers several jib configurations:
- Fixed Jib: Length options from 14 to 56 meters with installation angles at 0°, 20°, or 40°, providing additional lifting height and versatility.
- Luffing Jib: Configurable from 21 to 91 meters, with main boom angles at 69°, 77°, or 85°, enabling efficient operation in confined spaces or at steep angles.
- Wind Power Jib: Specially designed for wind turbine maintenance, available in lengths of 6, 10, and 14 meters, with installation angles at 0° and 13°.
The crane’s lifting system includes an optional Y-shaped superlift device, which significantly increases lifting performance by improving stability and reducing deformation of the boom under heavy loads. The superlift can decrease the loaded deflection by 20-30%, enhancing safety and capacity.
Powering the QAY650A are dual engines:
- The chassis engine is a Mercedes-Benz OM502LA.E3B/1, delivering 480 kW, providing ample power for transportation and on-site mobility.
- The superstructure engine is an OM906LA.E3A/1, producing 205 kW, ensuring efficient operation of lifting functions.
The crane is equipped with a robust hydraulic system, utilizing variable displacement pumps for the boom, swing, and other operations, ensuring smooth and precise control. Advanced control systems include proportional pilot control levers and a CANBus integrated electronic monitoring system for operational safety and performance feedback.
The QAY650A’s chassis features a 16-axle configuration with 14 steering axles and advanced suspension technology for stability. It has a travel speed of up to 75 km/h and a gradeability of 40%, allowing it to navigate challenging terrains.
Safety is a top priority, with features like load moment limiters, hydraulic locking devices, and anti-two-block systems. The crane also integrates intelligent technologies for enhanced maneuverability and safety monitoring.
