Product Description

The Tadano GS-600EX is a robust 60-ton truck-mounted crane, mounted on a Scania P360 CB8x4 Euro 5 chassis, which meets the stringent emission requirements of Singapore. The crane’s upper structure is equipped with a five-section hexagonal box boom, offering a telescopic reach from 11.1 m to 42.0 m. An additional two-stage jib provides extended lifting reach up to 15.2 m, with three offset angles of 5°, 25°, and 45°, and is designed for ease of installation using assistant cylinders.

Powered by a 265 kW (360 hp) turbocharged and intercooled Scania engine, the GS-600EX offers a maximum travel speed of 80 km/h and an impressive gradeability of 50%. The crane’s main and auxiliary winches are independently operated, delivering a line pull of 54.9 kN and line speeds of 146 m/min and 135 m/min respectively. The full slewing system provides continuous 360° rotation with selectable free or lock slewing and a maximum slewing speed of 1.9 rpm.

Outrigger stability is ensured by hydraulically operated front slewable and rear H-type outriggers, which can be extended to widths of 5.1 m, 6.0 m, or 7.0 m. The machine is also equipped with a 4,630 kg counterweight mounted directly on the slewing frame. Total crane mass (base with fuel) is around 42,800 kg.

The operator’s cab is designed for comfort and safety with a three-way adjustable seat, air conditioning (with hot water heater), power windows, sun visors, and full visibility through tinted safety glass. Control is via four ISO-standard levers for all major functions, along with foot pedals for boom operation.

The GS-600EX is fitted with Tadano’s AML-C (Automatic Moment Limiter), offering a full suite of safety features including load monitoring, auto shutdown before overload, outrigger extension detection, and various motion limiters. It also incorporates the Hello-Net telematics system for remote monitoring of crane status, location, and work history. This ensures proactive maintenance and optimised fleet management.

With a combination of urban mobility, lifting performance, fuel efficiency through Eco-mode, and intelligent crane management systems, the Tadano GS-600EX is a versatile solution tailored for infrastructure works in modern cities.
