Liebherr LTF 1030-3/4
The Liebherr LTF 1030-3/4 is a 30-ton truck-mounted telescopic crane featuring a 26-meter boom and designed to be mounted on a standard 3- or 4-axle commercial truck chassis. It offers the advantages of high mobility, quick setup, and economic transport, making it ideal for urban and regional lifting tasks.

Product Description
The Liebherr LTF 1030-3/4 combines the efficiency of a telescopic mobile crane with the cost-effective transportability of a truck-mounted system. It is designed to be fitted onto a 3- or 4-axle commercial carrier chassis from manufacturers such as Daimler-Benz, MAN, or IVECO, giving it flexibility for fleet integration and maintenance.
At the structural core, the intermediate frame features a torsion-resistant, box-type design bolted securely to the truck chassis. This robust frame provides the foundation for a four-point hydraulic outrigger system, with front supports that are collapsible and fully extendable, and rear supports that are also fully extendable—offering 360° slewing stability during operation. All outrigger functions are hydraulically controlled, enabling fast and reliable setup.
The crane superstructure, fully developed by Liebherr, utilizes a welded, high-tensile steel design to reduce weight while ensuring structural integrity. It is connected to the truck via a single-row slewing ring bearing, which allows for 360° continuous rotation. The crane is powered by a 4-cylinder, water-cooled Liebherr diesel engine (type D 914 T), capable of delivering 100 kW (136 hp) at 1800 rpm and a peak torque of 585 Nm at 1400 rpm. The engine supports a 220-liter fuel tank for extended operating periods without refueling.
The hydraulic system features one axial-piston swivel pump and one gear pump, capable of operating up to four movements simultaneously. Control is achieved through self-centering joysticks, with the operator able to move the boom in four directions and adjust movement speed by varying the diesel engine RPM.
The crane’s hoisting system employs a powerful axial piston motor and integrated planetary gear. It is equipped with a spring-loaded static brake to ensure secure lifting and lowering. A hydraulic cylinder with pilot locking provides reliable luffing operation, while slewing is controlled via a hydraulic motor and planetary gear system with a spring-loaded brake, allowing for infinitely variable slewing speed.
A three-section telescopic boom extends from 8.4 meters to 26 meters, using a single pivot and three telescopic sections that are hydraulically extendable under load. The boom is ideal for a variety of lifting tasks, including construction, utility work, and general maintenance where moderate reach and lift capacity are required.
The crane cab is constructed from galvanized steel and includes safety glazing, a heater, and full instrumentation for efficient operation. Safety features include the LICCON load indicator, hoist limit switch, and pressure relief valves to protect both operator and machine during critical lifts.
The LTF 1030-3/4 represents a practical solution for operators seeking a mobile crane with a high level of roadability and operational simplicity. Its ability to travel long distances at highway speeds and set up quickly makes it an ideal choice for cost-sensitive operations requiring moderate lifting performance without compromising on Liebherr’s renowned reliability and engineering quality.
