The Chinese manufacturer, XCMG, has announced that the world’s first truck crane with hybrid technology, XCMG XCT25_EV has become popular all over the world.
Using the cutting-edge technology platform, the industry’s first mobile crane with hybrid technology can be powered by diesel engine and electricity, through their patented technology gearbox powertrain.
The 25-tonne hybrid crane is fitted with free switching between four power modes – a hybrid, pure electricity, pure diesel and plug-in.
The battery can be fully charged in 90 minutes from an external source and topped up while running on diesel power. When driven in hybrid mode, battery and diesel power, the truck crane has a range of 800km.
