Engine and Transmission: The LTM 1225 is powered by a Liebherr D9408 TI diesel engine, delivering 400 kW (544 HP) at 2100 rpm with a maximum torque of 2180 Nm at 1200 rpm, ensuring strong performance and reliability. The crane’s transmission system includes an Allison type CLBT 755 with torque converter and hydrodynamic retarder brake, enhancing maneuverability and safety on various terrains.
Chassis and Axles: The crane chassis is built for durability and strength, accommodating all six axles that are sprung and with the first, third, and fifth axles steered. This setup allows for exceptional mobility and stability during transportation and operation.
