Product Description
The XCA100E development started as early as 2014, undergo intensive testing at XCMG Heavy Engineering Center. Their focus was on one main component – the single retractable hydraulic cylinder. Despite achieving over 10,000 cycles of telescopic testing, it was still far from their goal of 50,000 cycles before the crane breakdown. The failure was largely contributed by the roughness of the parts’ surface and durability of the materials. They did a modification on the crane and carry out consistent testing to ensure their goal has been achieved.
Performance Specifications
- Maximum Lifting Capacity: 100 tons, enabling it to perform heavy lifting operations efficiently.
- Boom Length: The 7-section telescopic boom extends from 11.7 meters to 60 meters, with U-shape cross-section for increased stability and strength.
- Jib Options: It offers several fixed jib lengths up to 32.1 meters and an independent jib head of 2.9 meters, allowing for varied configurations depending on specific lifting requirements.
Mechanical and Structural Design
- Engine Power: The superstructure is powered by a Benz OM934LA engine, and the chassis features a Daimler OM471LA engine, both meeting Stage IV/Tier4F emission standards, emphasizing efficiency and environmental responsibility.
- Chassis and Stability: Designed with a high-strength steel frame, the XCA100_E includes an H-shaped outrigger arrangement for optimal stability. The outriggers are hydraulically controlled and feature electronic consoles for operation.
Advanced Technologies
- Hydraulic System: The crane employs a load-sensitive piston pump controlled via an advanced electro-hydraulic system, ensuring precise movement and efficient operation.
- Safety Systems: Equipped with load moment indicator (LMI), anti-two block system, anemometer, and various hydraulic safety valves to enhance operational safety and prevent accidents.
- Operator Comfort: The operator’s cab is ergonomically designed with adjustable controls, heating, air conditioning, and safety glass, providing comfort and safety during operations.
Additional Features
- Counterweight Flexibility: The crane offers multiple counterweight configurations up to 28.7 tons, adaptable based on the lifting requirements.
