The standard boom length is 9.0 meters, consisting of a 4.1-meter top section and a 4.9-meter bottom section. The boom can be extended with optional sections up to a maximum length of 24.0 meters, which includes the base boom plus an extension of 6.0 meters. The boom is equipped with a 25-ton 3-sheave block for heavy lifting, and a 4.5-ton ball-type hook is also available for lighter loads.

The UC25’s winch system is highly efficient, providing a rated line speed of 95 meters per minute when unloaded and a load line pull of 44.1 kN (4.5 tons). The crane’s boom hoisting speed reaches 26 meters per minute, allowing for quick adjustments during operations. The transmission is a 2-stage hydraulic remote control system with power shift capabilities, offering travel speeds of up to 18 km/h in high gear and 8 km/h in low gear. The crane is equipped with pneumatic 4-wheel brakes and steering systems such as ORBIT ROLL full hydraulic power steering, ensuring precise control during both travel and lifting operations. The crane has a turning radius of 8.0 meters at its outermost point, making it maneuverable even in tight job sites, with a gradeability of 15 degrees.

The crane’s safety systems include a comprehensive suite of devices to ensure safe operation. A Load Moment Limiter (SML-06) automatically prevents overloading by monitoring the crane’s lifting conditions. Additional safety features include boom over-hoist limiting devices, boom backstops, and alarms for hoist drum pawl locks, swing locks, and hook height limits.
