Product Description

The P&H 9200-TC is a top-tier mechanical truck crane built for demanding lifting operations. It is designed around a 12-wheel (4-wheel drive) KS 201 carrier chassis and a robust upper machinery system powered by a Mitsubishi 8DC9C diesel engine. This 8-cylinder, direct-injection engine produces 260 HP at 2,200 rpm and a maximum torque of 98 kg·m at 1,400 rpm. The swing system utilizes a hydraulic axial piston motor to deliver 360° rotation at 2.2 rpm, and braking is spring-set and electrically actuated. The crane includes a twist grip control system for smooth, single-lever operations and precise load handling.

The boom hoist assembly and the front/rear drums use heavy-duty gear and hydraulic actuation for raising/lowering, supported by internal and external ratchets, safety pawls, and spring-set hydraulic brakes. The standard heavy-duty boom measures 15.24 m (50 ft), extendable up to 24.38 m (80 ft), while optional light-duty boom segments reach up to 35.05 m (115 ft). Boom sections feature high-strength, tapered steel tubing joined with pin connections. A high gantry supports reeving and boom hoist travel, while a five-piece counterweight totaling 45,700 kg ensures stability.

The carrier side includes a Mitsubishi 8DC9-1AT diesel engine with 380 HP at 2,200 rpm, 10-speed main transmission, and 4-speed auxiliary gear for efficient load transport. The carrier uses a dual-circuit air brake system with 16 tires (14.00 × 24 – 24 PR) and a full hydraulic outrigger system for enhanced stability. Additional optional equipment includes trans-lifter cylinders for simplified transport setup.

In terms of capacity, the crane uses multiple hook blocks ranging from 25 to 200 metric tons, depending on application, with corresponding reeving and sheaves. The front and rear drums can hoist up to 60 m/min, while the boom hoist line lifts at 24 m/min. Working weight is approximately 157,000 kg including boom, hook, counterweights, outriggers, and accessories.

Engineered for rugged conditions and mechanical reliability, the P&H 9200-TC remains a hallmark in the heavy-duty crane class, well-suited for large infrastructure and industrial lifting challenges.
