Product Description

The Hitachi TX40UR mini crawler crane is designed to perform efficient and safe lifting operations in tight spaces and urban job sites. It features a maximum rated lifting capacity of 2.9 tons at a 1.4-meter radius and offers a maximum lifting height of 9.3 meters with a four-part hook configuration. The crane’s four-stage telescopic boom extends smoothly from 3.17 meters to 8.9 meters, providing flexible working radii up to 8.35 meters. Boom elevation ranges from -1° to 76°, with elevation speeds of 11 seconds and extension speeds ranging from 5.7 m/min to 16 m/min.

The main winch delivers a rope speed of up to 17 m/min and uses an 8 mm diameter rope with a standard length of 65 meters. The TX40UR is powered by a Mitsubishi S3L2-E2 diesel engine producing 15.8 kW (21.5 PS) at 2,000 rpm. This compact power unit supports travel speeds of up to 3.1 km/h (high mode) and 2.1 km/h (low mode), enabling steady movement across work sites.

Safety is central to the TX40UR’s design. It is equipped with a moment limiter that automatically stops unsafe operations such as boom lowering, hoisting, or extension when overload conditions are detected. A three-color lamp shows the current load rate status, helping operators monitor safe working conditions at all times. Additionally, an optional height restriction device improves safety when working under overhead obstructions such as power lines or structures.

The crane offers robust structural stability with an operating weight of approximately 4,000 kg and compact transport dimensions of about 3,820 mm length, making it easy to maneuver and relocate on job sites. Its rear swing radius is limited to just 930 mm, further enhancing its suitability for confined spaces.

Overall, the Hitachi TX40UR combines compactness, reliable lifting performance, advanced safety systems, and easy operation, making it ideal for a variety of small-scale construction, maintenance, and utility lifting tasks where space constraints and precision are critical.
