Product Description
The Maeda LC1385M-1A is a compact mini crawler crane ideal for lifting operations in confined spaces and indoor environments with low overhead clearance. It offers a maximum lifting capacity of 4.9 tons at a 2.65-meter radius and a maximum working radius of 10.15 meters. The boom extends hydraulically in three stages from 4.5 meters to 10.0 meters using a double-acting sequential hydraulic cylinder system. Its boom elevation ranges from -4° to 75°, controlled by two double-acting hydraulic cylinders, enabling smooth and precise positioning of loads even in tight spaces.
Equipped with a Komatsu SAA4D102E-2 engine delivering 66.2 kW (90 PS) at 2,200 rpm, the LC1385M-1A achieves travel speeds of 4.7 km/h (high) and 2.9 km/h (low). The machine’s compact body offers an ultra-tight rear swing radius of only 1,480 mm, making it ideal for work in urban environments, factories, and under restricted headroom conditions.
Its main winch provides a lifting speed of 27.5 m/min under load and up to 42.5 m/min without load (4-part reeving), with 115 meters of 10 mm diameter rope. The crane is fitted with an automatic winch brake, overwind prevention device, moment limiter, hydraulic safety valves, and multiple alarm systems including warning buzzers and voice alerts to ensure safe operation.
The LC1385M-1A also features design enhancements to improve operator visibility and reduce risk of component damage. For instance, the boom’s right side and upper surface are free of protrusions, and the winch wire runs under the boom with guide rollers to prevent contact and wear. Additionally, the omission of the traditional boom support column lowers the boom foot and increases side visibility.
Outriggers extend to provide stable operation, and the crawler undercarriage is equipped with 500 mm wide shoes for stable traction. Other notable features include a large canopy roof, a compact hook storage device, hydraulic cylinder locks, and safety measures to prevent hook rope dislodgement.
Altogether, the Maeda LC1385M-1A is a reliable, efficient solution for lifting tasks in narrow or overhead-restricted areas, combining compact size, robust lifting capability, smooth hydraulic operation, and comprehensive safety systems.
