Indo Farm Power-16FNX

The Indo Farm Power-16FNX is designed as a rugged, high-capacity mobile crane, rated to lift up to 17 tons at a 1.7-meter radius. With its 4-part telescopic boom—including three hydraulically extended sections and one power-extended with a manual safety pin—the crane achieves a maximum boom height of 19.2 meters. A 3-meter optional fly jib extends this height to 22.2 meters and increases horizontal reach from 16.6 to 19.7 meters.

It supports loads up to 0.5 tons at full outreach, making it ideal for demanding lifts in large industrial yards, infrastructure jobs, and construction sites. The lifting system includes a four- or six-fall wire rope winch with a hoisting speed of 55 m/min and fail-safe braking.

Power comes from a 60 HP Indo Farm 3065 DI 4-cylinder, water-cooled diesel engine, driving a heavy-duty sliding mesh gearbox with 8 forward and 2 reverse speeds, including a high/low range selector. The clutch is a single dry-plate, heavy-duty unit designed for crane operations. With a top travel speed of 30 km/h and 40% gradeability unladen, it’s fit for tough terrain and inter-site movement.

Articulated power steering offers up to 40° articulation through dual hydraulic rams, achieving a minimum turning radius of 8.5 meters. The crane rides on a heavy-duty straight rear axle and a full-length, high-ground-clearance chassis.

Hydraulic operations are supported by a vane-type pump and a multi-spool control valve (3/5/6 spools) with built-in pressure relief. The hydraulic reservoir holds 155 liters, with inline filtration via a 100-mesh suction strainer and a 25-micron return filter. Additional fluid capacities include 60 liters of diesel, 12.5 liters engine oil, and 45 liters of gear oil.

Braking is provided by fully air-operated dual circuit ‘S’ cam brakes on the front, mechanical disc brakes on the rear, and an air-operated fail-safe parking brake.

The crane stands on four 11.00×20 – 16 PR front tyres and two 14.00×25 – 20 PR rear tyres. It has a wheelbase of 4.95 meters and overall dimensions of 11,375 mm (L) × 2,450 mm (W) × 2,945 mm (H), with an operating weight of 13,270 kg.

Standard features include an enclosed all-weather cabin, rear-view mirrors, safety guards, tool kit, reflectors, and lighting systems. Optional accessories include a fly jib, man basket, rear-view and winch cameras, air-conditioned cab, spark arrestor, safe load indicator, helper seat, and fire extinguisher.
