Indo Farm Power-12 (Slotted Boom)

The Indo Farm Power-12 (Slotted Boom) crane is built to deliver enhanced vertical and horizontal reach without sacrificing compact maneuverability. Its slotted boom design offers robust structure with smooth telescopic operation. The 3-part hydraulically operated box-type boom reaches a vertical height of 13.2 meters and extends horizontally to 10.4 meters, providing extended reach for materials handling and lifting in tight or high-clearance environments.

This model is rated for a maximum lifting capacity of 12 tons at a 1.73-meter radius, sustaining up to 2.5 tons at a full horizontal reach of 7.8 meters. The lifting mechanism features a four-fall wire rope winch with a hoisting speed of 55 m/min, supported by a fail-safe braking system.

The Power-12 Slotted is powered by the Indo Farm 3065 DI 4-cylinder water-cooled diesel engine, delivering 60 HP at 2,200 rpm. The powertrain includes a heavy-duty sliding mesh gearbox with eight forward and two reverse speeds, paired with a high/low selector for fine control under load. A heavy-duty single-plate dry clutch is engineered specifically for crane operations. The crane achieves a travel speed of 30 km/h, making it ideal for frequent inter-site movement.

Articulated steering is achieved through dual hydraulic cylinders with a maximum articulation angle of 53°, allowing a tight turning radius of 6.5 meters. Operational timings include 22–25 seconds for boom raising, 19–24 seconds for lowering, and 9–14 seconds for full telescopic extension or retraction.

The braking system consists of pneumatically assisted hydraulic drum brakes on the front wheels and mechanical disc brakes on the rear. Additional safety features include an overload audio alarm, safety brake on the hoist, hydraulic hose failure protection, and cylinder guards.

The chassis is a full-length heavy-duty frame with a straight rear axle, supporting four 11.00×20 – 16 PR front tyres and two 13.00×24 – 12 PR rear tyres. The hydraulic system includes a vane/gear-type pump, a 4-spool control valve with integrated pressure relief, and dual filtration (100-mesh suction and 25-micron return line filters). Hydraulic capacity is 125 liters.

Standard accessories include an all-weather cabin, reflectors, rear-view mirrors, front bumper, tool kit, and lighting systems. Optional features include fly jib, air brakes, man basket, extra hooks, spark arrester, six-fall rope, fire extinguisher, and steering wheel upgrade.
