Franna AT-20
The Franna AT-20 is a 20-ton pick-and-carry crane designed for mobility, lifting power, and reliability. It features a boom reach of up to 17.9 meters, a top speed of 85 km/h, and compact maneuverability, making it ideal for lifting tasks across industrial, construction, and utility environments.

Product Description
The Franna AT-20 is a powerful, roadable pick-and-carry crane engineered to perform tough lifting duties while maintaining high on-road performance and tight on-site maneuverability. Rated at 20 tonnes at a 1.4-meter radius, it offers substantial lift performance for general construction, plant movement, and utility projects. Even at an extended reach of 15.8 meters, it can safely lift 1.55 tonnes, demonstrating its capability across a wide range of working radii.
The AT-20’s boom extends to 17.9 meters, featuring both powered and manual stages with full hook compensation. The hook height reaches 16.75 meters, supporting a 16.8-tonne lift hook block or a 4.2-tonne single-line winch capacity. Its turning circle is impressively compact, with an outside wheel radius of just 7.4 meters.
It is powered by a Hino H07C-T 6-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine generating 162 kW (217 HP) at 2800 rpm and 647 Nm of torque at 1700 rpm. Power is delivered via an Allison MT643 4-speed automatic transmission with lockup capabilities in 3rd and 4th gear. The drive system includes a 2-speed air-shift transfer case and heavy-duty front and rear axles with air-actuated differential locks.
Built for both stability and road comfort, the AT-20 uses semi-elliptic springs on both axles, reinforced by a torsion bar on the front. Braking is managed through twin-circuit full air “S” cam brakes with an engine exhaust brake, and the rear axle features a spring-applied park brake while the front axle includes a crane operation hold brake.
The hydraulic system uses a 126 L/min load-sensing axial piston pump. A 255-liter hydraulic tank and 290-liter diesel tank provide long operational endurance. Steering is controlled via full power ORBITROL with twin hydraulic rams and an emergency electrohydraulic backup system.
The operator cabin is a fully enclosed ROPS-certified, insulated unit designed for comfort and safety. It includes ergonomic controls, full instrumentation, and optional features like air conditioning, fly jib (2.9 m), man basket, spreader bar, and central greasing.
With a total weight of 19,000 kg (8,000 kg front, 11,500 kg rear), the AT-20 provides high-capacity lifting in a mobile, efficient, and operator-friendly package, making it a leading choice for pick-and-carry operations across a variety of industries.
