Product Description
The XCMG XCR60L5U is a versatile 60 US ton rough terrain crane designed for efficient lifting operations in construction, mining, and industrial settings. It is built to handle challenging conditions with a five-section telescoping boom that extends from 37.1 feet to a maximum length of 143 feet. The boom is made of a U-shaped cross-section welded structure, providing strength and stability during lifts. The crane also features a two-section lattice jib that extends from 30.2 feet to 52.5 feet, with offset angles of 0°, 15°, and 30°, adding versatility to its lifting capabilities.
The crane is powered by a Cummins QSB6.7 in-line six-cylinder diesel engine, delivering 260 horsepower at 2,200 rpm and a maximum torque of 730 lb-ft at 1,500 rpm. The engine complies with U.S. EPA Tier 4F emission standards, making it environmentally friendly. The crane has a fuel tank capacity of approximately 80.5 gallons, providing ample runtime for extended operations. The advanced hydraulic system includes a dual-variable displacement pump used for hoisting, slewing, and telescoping functions, with a load-sensitive proportional multi-way valve for efficient control. The hydraulic oil tank has a capacity of 228 gallons.
Constructed with a high-strength, fine-grained steel frame, the XCR60L5U features a welded torsion-resistant design that ensures excellent load-bearing capacity. It has four H-shaped outriggers controlled hydraulically and electrically, allowing for multiple extension positions to optimize stability on various surfaces. The axles are engineered for both driving and steering, providing high load-bearing capability and maneuverability on rough terrain.
The crane’s suspension system consists of a rigidly connected front axle and a swing hydraulic suspension for the rear axle, which enhances shock absorption and travel comfort on uneven surfaces. The rear suspension can be locked in a rigid state for increased stability when traveling with a suspended load. The XCR60L5U is equipped with multiple steering modes, including front axle independent steering, tight turning radius steering, crab steering, and rear axle independent steering, allowing for precise control in confined spaces.
Safety is a priority in the XCR60L5U’s design. The crane comes with a dual-circuit hydraulic disc brake system for secure stopping, supplemented by a spring-loaded parking brake. Additional safety features include a load moment indicator (LMI), hydraulic balance and relief valves, anti-two block systems to prevent rope over-winding, and a lowering limiter to avoid over-releasing the rope.
The crane’s slewing system is powered by a single-row four-point ball bearing and a hydraulic motor with a planetary gear reducer, providing smooth 360° continuous rotation. The main winch system features a hydraulic motor with a planetary gear reducer, allowing for variable speed control for both light and heavy load lifting scenarios.
The operator’s cab is ergonomically designed with a tilt function, a sliding door, and an adjustable seat for operator comfort. It is equipped with large safety glass windows for better visibility, sunshade, and climate control with heating and air conditioning. The cab includes 12V and 24V power outlets for convenience.
The XCR60L5U has a counterweight of 16,535 lbs and is equipped with different hook blocks (60 US ton and 5.5 US ton) to accommodate various lifting requirements. This crane is an excellent choice for projects requiring a combination of mobility, strength, and operational flexibility on rough terrain.
