Product Description
The XCMG XCA275U is an advanced all-terrain crane with a lifting capacity of 275 US tons, suitable for various heavy lifting applications in construction, energy, and infrastructure projects. Its 5-axle chassis provides a robust base for mobility and stability, with steering configurations that allow for exceptional maneuverability. Axles 1 and 2 are mechanically steered with hydraulic power assistance, while axles 3, 4, and 5 utilize electric-controlled hydraulic steering. The crane offers six steering modes, enabling easy navigation across challenging terrains.
The boom system on the XCA275U consists of a 7-section telescoping boom, extending from 44 feet to a maximum of 239.5 feet. Additionally, the crane features a fixed jib that can be extended up to 39.4 feet with adjustable offsets at 0°, 20°, and 40°, further enhancing its reach. For the most demanding lifts, a lattice light fix jib extends the maximum lifting height to 354.3 feet. The crane has a single-line pull capacity of 12.6 US tons, and the maximum hoisting speed reaches 426.5 feet per minute when operating under no load conditions.
Powering the crane is a Mercedes-Benz OM471LA.E4-1 or OM471LA.E5-1 in-line six-cylinder diesel engine, delivering a maximum power output of 523 bhp. The engines comply with EPA Tier 4/EU Stage IV emission standards, ensuring efficient and environmentally friendly operation. The crane’s 12-speed ZF automatic transmission facilitates smooth driving, allowing it to reach a top speed of 49.7 mph. The suspension system features hydro-pneumatic technology, providing automatic leveling and high ground clearance adjustments for superior stability.
Safety and performance are enhanced by the crane’s dual-circuit air disk brake system, including engine exhaust braking and a transmission retarder for additional braking force. The crane is compliant with ASME B30 and OSHA standards, utilizing advanced hydraulic systems that allow for seamless integration of lifting, slewing, and telescoping functions. The operator’s cab is ergonomically designed, equipped with climate control, safety glass, and modern electronic controls to ensure operator comfort and productivity.
The XCA275U is built to handle diverse lifting tasks while minimizing maintenance, thanks to its use of a single engine for both the carrier and superstructure. This reduces servicing requirements and optimizes operational uptime, making the XCA275U an ideal choice for projects requiring reliable, high-capacity lifting solutions.
