Product Description
The Fuwa FWX185 crawler crane, with a maximum lifting capacity of 185 tonnes at a 5-meter radius, offers robust performance suited for large-scale construction and industrial projects. It features a maximum main boom length of 85 meters and can be combined with a fly jib of up to 31 meters or a luffing jib for extended reach, totaling 111.8 meters. This flexibility in configuration allows the FWX185 to handle a variety of heavy-lifting scenarios.
This crane is designed with modular components, including main boom inserts of 3, 6, and 11.6 meters, facilitating easy containerized transport. With a crane mass of 180 tonnes (including the 185t hook), the FWX185 maintains stability with its 66-tonne counterweight system, while its compact transport dimension of 11,950 mm x 3,000 mm x 3,160 mm enables efficient mobility between job sites. Its robust hydraulic and electric systems contribute to efficient and safe operation, further enhanced by a solid-state electronic compartment that centralizes control for ease of maintenance and diagnostics.
The FWX185’s main winch and auxiliary winch achieve hoist speeds of up to 120 m/min using a 26 mm wire rope, while the boom hoist operates at 30 m/min with a 22 mm rope. The crane’s swing speed reaches up to 2 rpm, and its travel speed is up to 1.2 km/h, ensuring both precision and mobility on site. With a single line pull capacity of 13.5 tonnes, it provides substantial pulling power for demanding lifts.
Powered by an engine with a rated output of either 242 kW or 264 kW, depending on the market, the FWX185 complies with diverse regional requirements and offers a swing radius of 6,360 mm for efficient operational range. The crane’s design includes self-assembly devices for quick setup, jack-up cylinders for safe track frame assembly, and a high ergonomics cab with enhanced visibility and comfort, featuring a modern control console with diagnostics and GPS location.
The FWX185 excels in transportability with its ability to nest the boom sections, reducing costs and protecting components during transit. The machine is engineered to withstand a ground bearing pressure of 0.12 MPa, supporting stable operation even in challenging ground conditions. This crane’s multi-configuration capability makes it an adaptable choice for various lifting projects, aligning with Fuwa’s commitment to versatile, high-performance lifting solutions.
