Product Description

The IHI CCH2000-6 is a robust 200-ton class crawler crane designed for demanding lifting operations in civil construction, infrastructure, and industrial sectors. It offers a powerful combination of lifting capacity, boom flexibility, and structural strength. At the core of its lifting performance is a standard boom configuration that extends from 18.0 to 72.0 meters, with a jib that expands the total maximum boom length to 109 meters (72.0 m boom + 37.0 m jib). A light boom setup from 72.0 to 93.0 meters is also available for specific applications.

The crane’s lifting power peaks at 200.0 tons at a 5.2-meter radius. For hoisting operations, the system supports two 125-ton winches operating simultaneously, providing a rope speed of up to 120 meters per minute, and boom hoisting at approximately 34 meters per minute. The hook reeving system includes 16-fall and 12-fall for the main 200/125-ton hook, and single-fall for the 13.5-ton auxiliary hook. Boom hoisting is achieved with a 20-part reeving system for steady and controlled lifting.

The crane is powered by a Cummins QSL9-3A diesel engine rated at 242 kW at 2,000 rpm, with a displacement of 8.9 liters and supported by a large 510-liter fuel tank. Travel speeds are selectable between 0.9 km/h (low) and 0.6 km/h (under load), and the machine can handle gradients up to 30% (16.7°). Slewing is carried out at 1.5 rpm.

Structurally, the machine has a counterweight of 92.0 tons and a carbody weight of 19.0 tons. The overall operating weight with the 18-meter boom and 200-ton hook setup is approximately 210 tons. Ground pressure is kept manageable at about 113 kPa (1.15 kgf/cm²), ensuring safe operations even on softer soil conditions.

For wire rope configurations, the crane uses multiple rope types:

  • Main hoist: 28 mm, 688 kN breaking strength, 410 meters long.
  • Boom hoist: 22.4 mm, 357 kN, 370 meters.
  • Boom support: 40 mm, 1,360 kN.

Jib hoist and support ropes are similarly rated with appropriate breaking strengths for their roles.

The CCH2000-6 offers a durable and high-performance solution for high-tonnage lifting requirements, balancing boom reach, reeving flexibility, and strong engine power, making it suitable for long-duration, large-scale lifting tasks.
