Product Description
The SANY SCC8100-2 crawler crane is engineered for efficient and stable heavy lifting operations, offering a maximum rated lifting capacity of 100 tons with a rated lifting torque of 380 t·m. Its main boom extends from basic lengths up to a maximum of 70 meters, achieving boom luffing angles between 20° and 80°, making it suitable for a wide range of lift scenarios from confined urban sites to large-scale infrastructure works.
In addition to its main boom, the SCC8100-2 can be configured with an optional fixed jib measuring up to 22.5 meters, with luffing angles between 30° and 80°, and offset angles of 15° or 30°. Combined with the main boom, this extends its operational versatility and maximum working radius.
The crane is powered by a Cummins QSL9.0 diesel engine delivering 242 kW at 1800 rpm. This engine meets modern standards for fuel efficiency and durability and supports the crane’s advanced hydraulic systems, which provide smooth and stable multi-function operation under varying load conditions.
Performance parameters highlight its impressive working speeds, with main hoisting rope free-fall speed reaching up to 116 m/min, boom luffing rope speed of 79 m/min, and slewing speed up to 2.66 rpm. Travel speeds range from 0 to 2 km/h, with gradeability of 30%, supported by a reliable hydraulic system that uses international brand components to ensure stable and efficient operation.
The SCC8100-2 is designed with operator safety and convenience in mind. It features dual operational modes (working and assembly), real-time grounding pressure and levelness display, emergency electrical controls, protection against lightning strikes, automatic travel direction regulation, and comprehensive safety/monitoring devices. The system incorporates constant power control, pressure cut-off, and proportional electrical control displacement to ensure stable operation even in harsh environments.
Its broad chassis design improves machine performance and stability within 360° rotation, while the telescopic crawler structure allows maximum transportation width of just 3.49 meters, enabling the crane to be transported as a single piece for improved site logistics.
The crane has an overall weight of 88 tons, with a basic machine counterweight of 27.4 + 10 tons, and maximum single-piece transport weight of 45 tons. Transport dimensions measure 13.23 m (L) x 3.49 m (W) x 3.49 m (H). Optional configurations include free-fall winches for both main and auxiliary hoists, a third winch, and angle iron boom attachments to suit varied lifting demands.
With a combination of advanced hydraulic technology, powerful engine performance, excellent transport flexibility, and modern safety features, the SCC8100-2 is ideal for mid-range lifting tasks in infrastructure, civil construction, and energy sector projects.
