Product Description
The HDTC90 from Hunan Holdings Heavy Industry is a high-capacity telescopic crawler crane engineered to excel in off-road conditions where low ground pressure, high maneuverability, and lifting versatility are essential. This self-propelled crawler unit is ideally suited for tasks such as pipeline installation, structural assembly, and equipment lifting across oil fields, civil construction, and heavy industry.
With a maximum rated lifting capacity of 90 tons at 3 meters radius, the HDTC90 delivers a base boom lifting moment of 3400 kN·m and 1568 kN·m at full extension. The six-section main boom telescopes from 11.3 to 50.0 meters, while the optional jib adds 7.4 to 11.3 meters, achieving a total lifting height of 61.5 meters. Boom angles range from -2° to 80°, and the crane offers 360° continuous rotation.
Lifting operations are supported by high-performance winches with main hoisting speeds of 120 m/min and auxiliary winch speeds of 110 m/min (single rope). Boom extension and retraction each take 130 seconds, while raising or lowering the boom takes 60 seconds. Slewing speed is 0–1.7 rpm, ensuring controlled rotation even during full load handling.
The crane is powered by a Cummins QSL8.9-C290 engine, delivering 210 kW at 2200 rpm and maximum torque of 1350 Nm at 1500 rpm. This engine is matched with a hydrostatic drive system using A6VE160 travel motors and Brevi CTU31100 reduction gears, offering a top travel speed of 2.2 km/h and a gradeability of 25°.
The HDTC90 has two track width configurations:
- Narrow gauge: 2,550 mm
- Wide gauge: 4,250 mm
The machine uses 850 mm wide crawler shoes and maintains a ground pressure of 0.084 MPa, ensuring superior traction and ground contact across soft terrain. Minimum ground clearance is 411 mm, with a track center distance of 5,500 mm.
Hydraulic performance is managed by a system operating at 32 MPa, with a 540 L/min flow rate and 1050 liters of hydraulic oil capacity. The crane’s fuel tank holds 480 liters, supporting extended operation cycles in remote locations.
The machine’s overall dimensions vary slightly depending on configuration:
- Without auxiliary winch: 12.77 m (L) x 3.4 m (W, up to 5.1 m including tracks) x 3.2 m (H)
- With auxiliary winch: 13.4 m (L) x 3.4 m (W) x 3.2 m (H)
- The HDTC90 has a total operating weight of 80,000 kg, including 20,000 kg of counterweights and two additional 3,000 kg ballast blocks mounted on the carrier.
Equipped with safety features such as load moment limiters, electronic monitoring systems, and over-hoist protection, the HDTC90 ensures operator confidence and compliance with heavy lifting standards. The crane’s operator cab is configured for ergonomic control with full visibility and a wide range of diagnostic feedback.
In summary, the HDTC90 stands as a formidable lifting machine capable of handling demanding jobs where mobility and power need to be combined. Its large boom reach, configurable jib, and adaptable chassis make it a go-to solution for medium to heavy-duty lifting in off-road and industrial environments.
