Product Description
The Link-Belt TCC-1100, introduced at CONEXPO/CON-AGG 2011, represents a significant advancement in telescopic crawler crane design. With a 110-ton (100 metric ton) capacity, this crane was designed for contractors requiring maximum flexibility, quick setup, and powerful lifting in terrain-challenged environments. The crane made its debut with All Erection & Crane Rental placing the first order, signaling strong market confidence from major industry players.
Central to its capabilities is the five-section, full-power boom, extending from 12.2 meters to 45.7 meters (40 feet to 150 feet). This robust structure provides a maximum tip height of 159 feet (48.5 meters). For extended reach, the TCC-1100 offers a two-section, swing-away jib measuring 9.4 meters to 16.8 meters (31 to 55 feet), delivering a maximum tip height of 64.3 meters (211 feet) when fully deployed. The jib can be offset at 2°, 15°, 30°, and 45°, adding crucial flexibility for navigating around structures or lifting under overhead constraints.
The crane is powered by a Cummins QSL 9 diesel engine rated at 261 hp (195 kW) at 1,900 rpm, conforming to Tier 3 emissions standards. It drives a powerful hydraulic system that enables simultaneous function operation, providing efficient control over swing, boom hoist, winches, and travel.
The crane features dual main and auxiliary winches, each capable of 113.6 kN (25,535 lbs) line pull with a line speed up to 132 m/min (433 ft/min), suited for both high-speed lifting and precise, heavy-duty operations. The crawler undercarriage, with its hydraulically adjustable track gauge from 3.3 meters (retracted) to 5.0 meters (extended), offers exceptional stability and ease of transport.
Fully self-erecting, the TCC-1100 can be mobilized without additional cranes. It excels in pick-and-carry operations, supporting 100% chart lifting while traveling. These features make it ideal for industries such as bridge building, powerline installation, and plant maintenance.
The operator cab is ergonomically designed, featuring a large color display for load moment indicators, real-time system monitoring, climate control, and a tiltable seat for enhanced visibility. Joystick-operated, load-sensing hydraulics allow for intuitive and smooth operation.
With its introduction marking a notable milestone in 2011, the TCC-1100 continues to serve as a reliable, high-performance crane for demanding applications, offering excellent transport logistics, rugged terrain handling, and extensive lifting capability in a single, integrated platform.
