The SANY STB1600T6 is a robust and high-capacity telescopic crawler crane designed for demanding lifting tasks across a wide range of terrains and environments. The crane features a six-section full-power telescopic boom made of high-tensile steel, capable of extending from 13.2 meters to 60 meters. This long reach is complemented by an optional 18-meter bi-fold jib, which boosts the maximum lifting height to an impressive 78 meters. The telescopic system is hydraulically operated and synchronized for smooth extension and retraction, offering rapid configuration changes to meet various jobsite needs. The engine drives a variable displacement hydraulic system that ensures responsive control over all crane functions, including boom operation, hoisting, slewing, and travel. The STB1600T6 is equipped with dual winches capable of line speeds up to 130 meters per minute, with large capacity rope drums to accommodate extended lift heights. The swing system provides 360° continuous rotation with precise control and automatic slewing brake for secure load handling.

The operator’s cab is ergonomically designed for comfort and visibility, featuring a wide viewing range, fully adjustable seat, climate control, and a touchscreen control interface. The control system integrates a Load Moment Indicator (LMI) and advanced diagnostics to ensure safety and efficiency during operation. Operational parameters such as boom angle, lifting load, and working radius are continuously monitored and displayed in real-time.

The crane’s counterweight system is modular and removable for ease of transport. A total counterweight of 58 metric tons (including base and turntable counterweights) allows the STB1600T6 to maintain stability during heavy lifts. The modular counterweights are hydraulically installed and can be quickly set up or removed on site.
