Product Description
The Wilbert WT 405L e.tronic is a powerful and adaptable luffing jib tower crane built to meet the demands of complex and high-rise construction sites. Engineered to conform with CE Machinery Directives and the DIN EN 14439 tower crane standard, the WT 405L e.tronic is manufactured in Germany using premium-grade steel structures and precision-engineered components. It incorporates a modular jib system with standard 6-meter and 12-meter sections that allow jib lengths to be adjusted in multiple configurations up to a maximum working radius of 61.5 meters. This crane is capable of a maximum freestanding hook height exceeding 160 meters, showcasing its design for high-rise projects and heavy-duty applications.
The crane operates with a high-performance 140 kW hoisting gear, supporting both 1-rope (up to 16 tonnes) and 2-rope (up to 32 tonnes) lifting configurations. The hoisting speeds range from 0 to 200 m/min under lighter loads, with a maximum hook path of up to 590 meters in 1-rope mode, and 245 meters in 2-rope mode. The WT 405L also utilizes a 75 kW WWMOVE luffing gear and an 11 kW DW slewing gear, capable of slewing at speeds up to 0.8 rotations per minute. This performance is underpinned by a connected power load of 180 kVA, supporting consistent and efficient operations.
In addition to its technical strength, the crane’s compact and modular design allows for customization and site-specific adaptation. Wilbert cranes are known for their premium powder coating for high resistance to environmental stress and corrosion, and the WT 405L is no exception. Designed with a focus on operational reliability, efficient energy use, and user-oriented controls, the WT 405L e.tronic serves well in both temporary rental fleets and permanent site installations.
