Product Description
The Saez H40 self-erecting tower crane represents a well-balanced solution for job sites requiring efficient lifting capabilities without the complexity of large-scale crane operations. With a jib length of 40 meters, the crane offers a strong reach, supporting a standard load of 1,000 kg at the full radius and up to 4,000 kg when operating within a 13 to 15-meter radius. The crane’s maximum vertical reach is 23.8 meters, making it suitable for medium-height residential and commercial buildings.
The H40 is powered by a 15 kW hoisting mechanism delivering up to 20 horsepower. This allows it to achieve a maximum hoisting speed of 55 meters per minute, with the trolley moving at 41 meters per minute and the slewing mechanism operating at a top speed of 0.8 rpm. These parameters enable smooth and efficient load handling, supported by YASKAWA drives and a hoist motor fitted with an encoder for enhanced control.
The power supply requirement of the H40 is 21 kVA when operating on city power, but it also supports operation via a generator (36 kVA) or in eco mode at 16 kVA. Additionally, a transformer can be integrated for single-phase use, allowing greater flexibility in power-limited environments.
Transport and site deployment are major strengths of the H40. Its modular design is compatible with multiple axle transport options—10 km/h, 25 km/h, or highway-rated 80 km/h—enabling fast and safe relocation. Its support legs feature a new quick-release spindle system to reduce setup time, and optional hydraulic or jacked feet improve site adaptability.
Key innovations on the H40 include IP54-rated motors with a 1:4 gear ratio for durability, advanced slewing control with forward and reverse functionality, and optional anti-collision and zoning systems. It also comes with optimized hydraulics for smoother movements and a fully protected electrical cabinet with fiberglass housing for enhanced durability in varying weather conditions. Optional features such as a winterization package and remote connectivity further boost its versatility.
In sum, the Saez H40 is a thoughtfully engineered self-erecting tower crane that combines reliable lifting performance with practical deployment features. It is especially well-suited for contractors who need mobility, quick setup, and strong performance in a compact lifting solution.
