Product Description
The Demag CC 1400 is a versatile crawler crane designed for heavy-duty lifting, with a maximum rated capacity of 250 tons. Built with a torsion-resistant welded superstructure frame and robust hydraulics, this crane is well-equipped to handle demanding lifting tasks in various sectors, including construction, energy, and industrial projects. The crawler carrier consists of a 3-section structure, including the carbody and 2 crawler side frames, providing exceptional stability and mobility on the job site. Each crawler is independently powered by a hydraulic motor, ensuring precision and counter-rotation capability for optimal maneuvering.
The CC1400 is powered by a Mercedes-Benz OM 441 LA engine, delivering 250 kW (340 hp) at 2100 rpm, ensuring strong and reliable performance during extended lifting operations. The crane features a high-performance hydraulic system with multiple gear pumps for precise control of various movements, including the hoisting and boom operations. Two hydraulic rope drums are standard, supporting hoisting and boom lift functions, with spring-applied multi-disc brakes for safe and secure load control.
The main boom of the CC1400 can be configured with various combinations, ranging from 18 to 96 meters, depending on the specific requirements of the job. The crane’s boom and jib system includes lattice-type tubular chord structures made of high-strength fine-grain steel, ensuring durability and flexibility in different configurations. For example, the SH boom configuration extends up to 72 meters, while the SH/LH configuration can reach up to 96 meters, providing excellent reach for high-altitude tasks.
The crane is equipped with advanced safety devices, including electronic load indicators, hoist limit switches, and wind speed warning systems, ensuring safe operation in all conditions. The cab is ergonomically designed with safety glazing, heating, and advanced control systems, allowing operators to manage crane functions efficiently and comfortably. The cab can also tilt back for improved visibility during lifting operations.
Optional equipment includes additional counterweights of up to 160 tons and a second hoist for increased lifting capacity and versatility. The Demag CC1400 provides flexible lifting capabilities with advanced engineering, making it a reliable solution for large-scale projects that require high lifting capacities and long reach capabilities.
