Product Description

The Fuwa QUY400A crawler crane is designed to tackle heavy lifting operations, with a maximum rated capacity of 400 tonnes. This crane provides extensive boom and jib configurations, allowing it to handle complex projects with ease. The main boom length ranges from 30 to 96 meters, and with additional luffing jib configurations, the reach can extend up to 180 meters, making it ideal for infrastructure, petrochemical, and heavy industrial applications.

Powered by a Cummins QSM11 engine that delivers 298 kW at 2100 rpm, the QUY400A offers robust performance for demanding tasks. The crane’s hydraulic system, designed with German components, supports multiple functions such as hoisting, derricking, and luffing. The main hoist system features dual drums with a rope diameter of 36 mm and a maximum hoisting speed of 107 m/min, enabling efficient load handling. The swing system provides 360° rotation with a swing speed of up to 1.3 rpm, while travel speeds range from 0.9 to 1.2 km/h, supporting site mobility and precise load placement.

The QUY400A’s superlift system enhances stability and lifting capacity, with optional counterweights totaling up to 285 tonnes. This system includes configurations such as the heavy boom, luffing jib, and superlift mast, which provide additional lifting power for demanding operations. The crane’s ground bearing pressure is approximately 0.14 MPa, ensuring stable performance on varied terrains.

Safety features are integral to the QUY400A’s design, including hook and boom over-hoist prevention, a moment limiter with a CAN-BUS control system for real-time monitoring, and a comprehensive set of alarms and indicators for load conditions. The crane also has an anemometer for wind monitoring, ensuring safe operation in adverse weather conditions. Additional safety measures include locking devices on hoisting and derricking drums, as well as emergency braking systems.

The undercarriage of the QUY400A is designed for durability and ease of transport, featuring a retractable track frame and a crawler drive system powered by hydraulic motors. Each crawler is fitted with 114 track rollers, ensuring smooth and reliable movement. The crane can handle a 40% gradeability, making it adaptable to rugged terrains.

For operator comfort, the cab is spacious and noise-insulated, equipped with air conditioning, a high-resolution display, and ergonomic controls. The cabin also features a fire extinguisher, rearview mirrors, and camera systems for improved visibility and safety.

The QUY400A includes multiple hook blocks, with options ranging from 40 to 400 tonnes, providing versatility for different lifting tasks. It supports various boom combinations, including heavy-duty booms up to 84 meters and luffing jib configurations with a superlift option, offering the flexibility needed for complex lifting projects. This modular approach to boom configurations makes the QUY400A a powerful and adaptable choice for contractors involved in large-scale construction and industrial applications.
