Product Description

The IHI CCH1000 is a 100-ton capacity hydraulic crawler crane engineered to provide exceptional flexibility and lifting performance across multiple operational modes—including standard hook work, clamshell, and tower crane duties. At its core, it runs a powerful Hino EF750 V8 engine delivering 275 PS at 2,000 rpm, with a robust 112 kg·m of torque at 1,400 rpm. This engine powers a hydraulic system comprised of three variable displacement axial plunger pumps and three fixed displacement gear pumps, supporting all hoisting, slewing, and crawler travel functions with reliable hydraulic force. It uses twin drums with separate hydraulic drives for smooth and powerful lifting operations.

The crane is designed with 2-speed capabilities, offering a swing speed of 2.2 or 1.6 rpm and a travel speed of 1.2 or 0.6 km/h, depending on load and terrain. With a 30% (16.7°) gradeability, the CCH1000 can operate effectively in rugged environments. The base boom is 18 meters, and configurations allow extension up to 72 meters in lattice boom mode, with jib options ranging from 1 to 25 meters. The maximum hook height in this configuration reaches 65.9 meters, while its heaviest lifting setup offers 100 tons at a 5.5-meter radius.

Clamshell operation includes support for bucket capacities of up to 5.0 m³, with rated digging loads of 10 tons and hoisting speeds of 60/30 m/min. Dumping heights reach 13.5 meters with a 27-meter boom. The crane is capable of handling clamshell weights up to 103 tons (total, including bucket and boom) with an average ground bearing pressure of 0.79 kg/cm², supported by 35 tons of counterweight.

Tower crane functionality expands its application range further. In this mode, the crane can reach up to 89 meters of hook height (48.25 m tower post + 44 m jib) and has a maximum rated capacity of 20 tons at a 14-meter radius. Rope speeds vary by function—load and jib hoisting reach 60/30 m/min, while tower post hoisting operates at 21 m/min × 2 lines. It employs 40 tons of counterweight in tower mode and carries a total working weight of 118 tons with 0.91 kg/cm² ground pressure.

The crane features multiple wire rope systems using different diameters and specifications tailored to each application, including boom hoisting, load hoisting, and jib suspension. Wire rope strengths range from 34.1 to 86.7 tons depending on placement and load.

Standard equipment includes an 18-meter base boom, 100-ton hook block, jack devices, crawler steps, and dismantling cylinders. Optional features include a moment limiter, hot-wire cab heater, cab cooler, anemometer, wireless control options, and various boom/jib inserts for job-specific configurations.

Built for modularity, heavy-duty operation, and multiple lifting scenarios, the IHI CCH1000 excels in infrastructure development, industrial erection, port work, and high-rise foundation support. It is a highly versatile crane built to meet diverse site demands with strong lifting performance and adaptable working geometries.
