Kobelco 7450

The Kobelco 7450 is a powerful 450-ton class crawler crane, optimized for a variety of heavy lifting operations in both construction and industrial applications. It supports multiple boom configurations including heavy-duty, light-duty, luffing jib, and tower jib setups. In heavy-duty configuration, it can lift 450 tons at a 5.8-meter radius, while in tower crane configuration with luffing jib, it can lift 99 tons at 16 meters.

The crane features an 18.29-meter heavy-duty base boom and can be extended up to 97.54 meters in light-duty mode. When equipped with the luffing jib, the total length reaches 121.92 meters (including 54.68-meter mast). Its jib options include up to 67.06 meters of jib length, with combined boom and jib reach extending to 133.59 meters, and in tower crane mode, up to 70.10 + 67.06 meters.

The Kobelco 7450 is powered by a Cummins KTA-1150-C600 diesel engine, producing 609 PS at 2,100 rpm. The fuel tank holds 940 liters (390 liters front and 550 liters rear). Travel speed is up to 1.2 km/h, with a maximum gradeability of 30%, and the working weight varies from 335 tons in heavy-duty configuration to 420 tons when using the full tower and luffing jib setup.

Winch specifications include a main and auxiliary hook line speed of 59 m/min in high mode and 100 m/min in low mode, along with 25–35 m/min speeds for boom and jib hoisting operations. The swing speed is 1.0 rpm, providing precise control during operations.

For wire rope, the crane uses 32 mm diameter for both main and auxiliary hoists, 29 mm for boom hoists, 44 mm boom guy lines, and 28 mm for jib and main boom side hoisting.
